20 Year Old Tawny Port by Dow's

Post by Russ K »

May 21, 2011 aka the end of the world

Burnt orange in color. thick legs.
Slight alcohol flavor, but no burn, at the back of the tongue. slightly citrus perhaps slightly under ripe cherries, apricot? nice profile, but short finish.
86.

You still with us Russ?  While a pleasant Port this isn't a blockbuster 20 year old tawny's and your note sums it up nicely.

Spot on TN. I never understand why Dow and Graham's 20 year old Tawny Ports are not much better than they are.
