I would say that it must have been a slow news day. There are probably plenty of people weirder than this, but only when there is an empty page to fill, do they go out looking for them.

I suspect that any one of us is weirder than that, looked at from the right/wrong perspective. It's not depressing, just how people are.

I think the preservation of the precision of words in the English language is worth fighting for. How weird is that?

In another forum, I am fighting a battle over whether the word "ferrule" should be reserved for a band of metal on the outside of a rod, or whether it could also be applied to a dowel used to join two hollow spars together. BTW, I'm losing.

Meh, these crackpots are hippies from Toronto... Usually you find them in Victoria, but there are also plenty in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area).

They probably also voted for the Green Party in the recent election... [kez_11.gif] :roll: :D

Let's just hope that the mother won't be responsible for doing the home schooling. No need to further lower the gene pool of that family.
