Purchased November 2009 and saved for a special occasion. We had such a situation here at the cottage, but unfortunately this port did not live up to the level I had expected.
Bottled 2009. Decanted 2.5 hrs, which is needed in order to get rid of some of the alcohol. Lighter orange/brown colour. Aroma of nuts. apricot and something sweet. Round, balanced, but quite sharp / bitter in the middle and end. Long aftertaste. Not my style with all that alcohol and bitterness. 85 pts.
