1963 Graham's Vintage Port

Post by Andy Velebil »

A medium brown color and a nose of sweet old leather, old wood, and a tyre smell that was hard to place. A soft medium sweet palate with some menthol and solid acidity, light tannins still, and elegant fruit. Still has a good future in front of it and a pleasure to be able to taste this.

I liked this a lot too. It was a BBR bottle purchased in 1992 for $109, which for me back then seemed like a lot of money for any bottle of wine/Port. Still have two left from that original batch.
