30 Year Old Tawny Port by Dow's

Post by Russ K »

bottled in 2007
pop and poured, cellar temperature (54.5F).

beautiful light amber / orange color that a tawny should be, almost no alcohol on the nose, apricots / dried fruit up front, nice candy sweetness, not syrupy, smooth medium finish, non existent burn. Although the flavor profile is similar to the 20 yr, it is significantly better presented here. [cheers.gif]

For the record, I would not probably pay the sticker price on this...better things to do with that kind of money....

While I enjoy this, I also agree with your statement, especially when you compare this to other 30 Year Old Tawny's.
