Second time tried this port, first time on my 50th birthday 6 yrs ago.
Bottled 2009. Decanted 1 hr. Darker brown colour, but still transparent. Aroma of nuts, toffee, wood, figs. Spirit is nearly non-existent on the nose, which is very nice. Taste is silky, balanced, toffee, full body, fantastic “texture”. Long pleasant never-ending aftertaste. A winner at the Christmas party, both for port nerds and more casual port drinkers. 95 pts.
