1966 Croft Vintage Port

Decant: 8.5 hours - Modest colour, 50% opaque. Spicy juniper and blackthorn on the nose, slightly subdued. Silky entry, mouth filling and very tasty. Full of fruit with a great palate presence. Rich flavours, still youthful. Big aftertaste and a tremendous finish. A very impressive port, really delicious. This was a bottle from a large batch bought at auction by Tom and shared with a number of people. 93 points
