Decant: 3 hours - Served blind. Ex-cellars. Bottled 2011. Mid red in colour, distinct brown hue. Diesel note on the nose; characteristically colheita. Full of dates. Sweet on the palate, with lots of dried dates and almond paste - might have been imagination but perhaps there was even some primary fruit! Sweet brown sugar and slightly cloying aftertaste with an acidity that partially offsets this. Drinking nicely now, a good colheita. 86 points
