Decant: 11 days - Only 1,000 cases of this wine were released. Deep red colour, opaque. Attractive nose of lemon grass and blackcurrant. Acidic impact, mild chocolate and gentle fruit come through; tannins are very soft. Pleasant fruit and structure. A touch of heat on swallowing leads to a deep chocolate finish, with some dried blueberry. Another example of the 1998s drinking very nicely today. 86 points
