I have not had Six Grapes, but the Noval Black is a very nice "entry level" Port. My wife, who does not like VP because it tastes like cough syrup, enjoys the Noval Black.

You need to find some different VP for her then, or not if you want to protect your collection. I have had some that tastes like cough syrup, but plenty that does not.
