Well, I have a bid in on a bottle of Brizard Roma Port 1955. Never heard of this, and the price is low to reflect this. But I hope I get it as a novelty. As best I can tell (a google hit), this is a defunct UK name, probably a UK merchant bottling.

I'm going to guess 2006, as I think that's when all of mine were bottled and from what I heard they accidentally bottled all that they had left at that time.

Great stuff... it was my first Colheita and it's still one of my favorites.

Andy, I don't know because I ordered them along with other wines on line (non-Portuguese) and have yet to receive them. That said, I still have one left from my original batch and it is from 2000 bottling.

Today I purchased 2 bottles of 1999 Smith Woodhouse LBV. I was wearing my FTLOP hat (in a wine shop) and they asked if I was in the business and they liked the hat. I gave them a card and they gave me a 15% discount for being ITB. Normally I would never go for this, but I was paying cash and bought 9 other bottles while there, so I figured it would be ok to say "yes" to a discount.

I received them today and surprisingly they were from 1996 bottling. Nothing like sitting for 16 years. These had the original paper wrapped around them. Interesting and almost like Garrafeira at this point. :snooty:

1 bottle of 2001 Warre Traditional LBV, bottled 2005. I've drunk the filtered Warre LBV from 2001, but not the Traditional version. This will probably get opened tonight! :winepour:
