1966 Taylor's Vintage Port

Post by João Rico »

1966 Taylor's Vintage, Port, Fortified (18,5/20)
Grapes: Old traditional vineyards

Tasting Note: Light ruby. Lovely aroma, very intense. Wild berries, chocolate, spices and some caramel. Rich and almost decadent, but so lively and crisp.
Great richness, lovely texture, so tasty. Great balance, with melted tannins. So long and intense finish. Yummy stuff

Joao,
Do you think this VP has reached its peak or does it still have room for improvement?

Andy,

It's drinking perfectly now but i wouldn't worry that much with it. It is a mature Port but i think it will stay like this for more years.
Of course there are some factors that can change what i wrote. I'm assuming a perfect keeping.
