NV Ferreira Duque de Braganca 20 Year Old Tawny Port

Post by Glenn E. »

Purchased by the glass at The Flat Iron Grill in Issaquah. They actually had Riedel port glasses, and the pour was very generous (probably 3 or 3.5 oz). And it was only $9!

I didn't take formal notes, but it went well with the espresso cheesecake that I had for dessert. The acidity cut through the cheese nicely, and the brown sugar complemented the chocolate cookie crumb crust.

I can't really give it a score - my palate was too affected by the food and the cheesecake I was eating while drinking it. It paired up well, though!
