does Tapatalk need an update?

Post by Glenn E. »

Right now, Tapatalk is telling me that there is exactly 1 thread on the forums with a new post. (The Fall of the Euro.) However when I visit the forums from my computer, there are at least 20 threads with updates.

I recently updated to Tapatalk 2 version 2.1.3 and I'm wonder if there's maybe a forum-side upgrade that needs to take place also?

Mine seems to be working fine after the updates. I'm using a Iphone 3g (yeah I know, it's old, but I'm holding out for whatever new one comes out this year)

What phone you using?

Glenn,

I just checked for you and found that you need to pay your phone bill and then it will work just fine.

Something's not right, because just now Taps talk told me that there were no unread threads yet this one (and many others as well) has new posts in it.

Andy, do use the "unread" tab or the "all posts" tab when you ate reading? All posts does have everything correct - threads with new posts are in bold - but unread is empty.

Is there some setting that's I've accidentally changed? I'm having the same problem with The Port Forum.

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Nexus (the Android 4.0 Google phone).

I did just now disable the cloud... I don't recall turning that on and I'm not sure what it's supposed to do. We'll see if that helps.

Tapatalk has been updating versions like crazy lately, and I've observed the behavior you describe Glenn, on my Droid X, Tapatalk version 2.1.0.

It now seems to be working again. I disabled the cloud and rebooted, so can't say for certain which fixed it.

Oddly, while FTLOP now seems to be fine, TPF is still not working correctly. I'm not convinced it's entirely my phone.

... and now FTLOP is back to not working correctly.

At least all of the posts are available in the "All" tab, but it was nice to be able to review all of the unread threads in one place.
