2001 Krohn LBV Port

Post by Andy Velebil »

After having no Port for just over a week I was craving some last night when I got home from work. I found my last bottle of this, from a bunch I bought on release. I had purposly held a few back to see how they would age.

No decanting. Silky and soft kirsch fruit and some spices which tingled the tongue on the finish. Pretty straight forward across the range. This probably could age a bit longer but I see no reason to do so. It's in the perfect place and further aging will probably cause it to fall out of balance.
