1955 Quinta do Noval Vintage Port

Decant: 6 hours - Wine Society bottled. Mid red in colour, firm orange rim; 30% opaque. Nosing of mature orange and cinammon - very attractive. Full and rich on the palate; dry, dusty tannins with plenty of bitter orange zest and fruit. Slightly harsh / bitter when mixed with air, but not unpleasant in any way! Long finish, full of sticky brown sugar. Ver, very enjoyable. 88 points
