1992 Osborne Vintage Port

Post by Al B. »

Decant: ½ hour - Served at the Yeatman by the glass, labelled "Yeatman 1992 vintage port". Identified only from the cork. Lovely ruby colour, deep and intense although softening on the rim. Baked fruit tones on the nose, pleasant and attractive with a good sweetness of fruit on the palate. Delicious soft fruit that is drinking well, with soft tannins and acidity. The long aftertaste is fruity and has a good duration. Very approachable now, but with plenty of time ahead of it. A straightforward and uncomplex port that gives pleasant drinking. 85 points
