Decant: Pop 'n' pour - 1,000 cases made in the last year of the Symington / Van Zeller partnership. Deep magenta in colour, opaque. Youthful floral nose, but with some restraint. Slow to develop on the palate but a little patience allows lots of fruit to show, together with charcoal tannins and a streak of minerality. Lovely cocoa finish of great length. 88 points
