1970 Warre Vintage Port

Decant: 9 hours - Mid red core, good rim; 70% opaque. A touch of heat on the nose, full of spicy tobacco. A very slight touch of VA, but rather light. Sweet entry, soft and gentle; flavours grow nicely on the palate with only gentle tannins. Hot aftertaste, soft red jelly baby finish before a bracing black licorice finish. 91 points
