Decant: 2 hours - Traditional LBV, bottled 1978. Rich mahogany, mature and attractive. Redcurrants and nutmeg on the nose, very promising. Smooth and lush in the mouth; medium bodied and very rich in flavour - delicious development of flavour. A quick burst of heat on the aftertste, then a huge wave of flavour on the finish where the acidity supports the intense and sweet orange-peel fruit. Delicious port. 91 points
