Initially decanted 6 hours and slowly consumed over several days. Still a youthful and deep purple with just a little bit of age showing. Very sweet and viscous with plums, licorice, menthol, touch of tobacco leaf, some light tannins, and a touch of heat on the moderate finish. Still youthful but a bit short in the complexity department at the moment. Otherwise this is a nice place and is in no way mature. Though I wonder if the heat will start to show more when that sweet fruit starts fading. In a transitory stage right now and I will be interested to see how this ages in the future, as there may be potential.
