1998 Niepoort Colheita Port -- bottled 2012

This Colheita from Niepoort has always seem young since the first bottling. It has kept good deal of color, displaying highly saturated ruby/amber color. Expressive and elegant nose. Flavours of cinamon, candied apple, vanilla, cardamon, fresh almonds. On the palate, freshness is the key, great acidity balancing right from the start the sweetness makes this way too easy to drink. Flavours similar to the nose, some pastry sweet notes ont he finish dominated by candied apples and cinamon. 17/20+ Should age well.
