S. Leonardo 30 Year Old Tawny Port
Bottled in 2009. A tea brown with yellow on the edge as well as a touch of green. Maple bar, cloves, honey, and spice scents. Very sweet up front which quickly gives to plenty of fresh acidity to keep it from becoming cloying. Mouth filling maple, all spice, cloves, dried nuts and cinnamon on the back end. Filling the mouth as it goes yet it stays as well long into the seamless and very persistent finish. A fantastic 30 year old tawny from a small producer in the Douro, near Regua. Miguel Braga is a master when it comes to his Tawny's.

I keep waffling between one of these and a Casa de Sta. Eufemia 30-yr White to open once my new job is completely official. They're both so good!
