1983 Warres Vintage Port

Tasted blind in a lineup of 1983 Vintage Ports.

Deep red color with some brown and purple too, nearly like the Offley Boa Vista tasted in the same flight. Lots of dried leaf aromas, more so than the Offley. Cherry and strawberry too. Not as hot as the Offley, but there was some slight warmth going down. Citrus fruit acidity, more orange than lemon. Nice body. Overall this was a little more pleasant than the Offley in the mouth. 93 points.
