I also have not had this, but I can say that he (Miguel Braga) makes very solid Douro reds that need a lot of bottle age. This is the current release. He is just about to release his 2007 red, so probably WTSO is moving these out to make room.

I had this a couple of weeks ago on my birthday, with the winemaker. Whoever they are quoting gave it 91 points. I had it side by side with several other of Miguel's wines. It was solid, and I just grabbed a case, (thanks David!) but my rating was 88 points. The good news is, this shows no signs of it being 8 years old already and drank quite young. In a dry, somewhat austere if not "subtle" and elegant style with exc. structural components, dark red fruits and lots of room for upside. It is certainly worth the asking price, but I wouldn't pay much more than this, the best part is that it has already aged in bottle and should really start to shine in another 2-3 more years.
