From a 375ml bottle, decanted about 6 hours. I assumed this would be fully mature and drinking in it's prime, was I wrong. While showing mature notes in this size format, this still possesses some noticeable youthful fruit. Soft tannins and solid acidity provide lift and freshness. Licorice, tobacco, and red fruit are the primary flavors. Moderate complexity but with a long lingering finish. In this format size there is still upside potential. But I must be honest, I really enjoyed where this was at right now. I'm sure in 750ml this will probably show far younger and not ready for prime time yet. But in 375ml, I could drink this all day...this bottle didn't last long mind you.
