Drank last glass of 1985 Taylor-I'm a big fan of 1980's Taylors. I think the 1980.1983.&1985 are fine ports.
Not great like 1963 or 1970(1977 maybe) but great to drink.

All three mentioned blow any 80/83/85 Taylor out if the water. Even so-so showings of 1977 I've had are a still better than the 80's troika.
Though I will say the 85 is pleasant and IF you can find at a reasonable price is worth getting for a ready to drink vp.
