2 x 2007 Dows LBV for $15 each
1 x Andresen 10 Year Tawny for $22

...geez, the Dows is cheaper than Noval Black, Fonseca Bin 27 & Grahams Six Grapes...and all the other good Ruby Reserves at this store--go figure. Good cellar defenders IMHO.

1x Dows, 1x Cockburn, 1x Vesuvio 2011 VP - all from Total Wine. We'll at least be able to do a 7-wide 2011 horizontal some year now :)

6x 1997 Quinta do Noval LBV Unfiltered

I had the 1997 about a month ago and it was showing great. Now I am very curious to try the 1994!

6x Quinta do Noval 2011 VP
I received an e-mail from WineX this morning offering 2011 VPs, so I went to their site only to discover that this was sold out there. So I found it elsewhere, in stock, for less.

I've had the '94 Noval LBV and I can say that you're in for a treat. The 1/2 bottles are only just starting to turn the corner so if yours are full bottles be sure to give them a fairly good decant.

Cheers.................Mahmoud.

1 x 1950 Croft VP on WineBid @ $172.5 (including buyers premium).

Provenance seemed great, bottle in good shape. Not sure when will drink it, but am sure an important enough occasion will eventually arise. (Def let me know if you plan on holding a 1950 horizontal...)

V excited to own a bottle of VP this old, and for not having had to pay an arm and a leg for it.

Saw that bottle, was tempted to bid since it was so reasonably priced considering the age and fill. Didn't know anything about 1950 though, meant to look up some info and then forgot about it haha. Glad it went to a good home!

CellarTracker users have v few bottles of 1950... feels like a minor year. Not many reviews either there or on FTLOP (checking it now, it was down at the time).

Bought it more for the "historical" perspective... hoping it eventually shows well but expectations are v low!
