Pop and pour at a small dinner party. Did not take formal notes. Nice briar fruit on the nose--nice depth. Purple with a reddish rim-moderate viscosity--looks ideal. Now the fun part--taste comes off dark fruity at first, then a touch of red fruits--a touch of bramble or is it leather in the background? Clean moderate finish. A decent LBV and for only $12.99 + tax at Trader Joe's an excellent bargain. A great one for everyday or for a newbie wanting to venture a taste of port.

Thanks. I just drank my last a few weeks ago. Definitely a good daily drinker, and you can't beat that price. I'll have to stock up again, and also look for that 2011 VP at Trader Jose's.

A lot of Trade Joe's products have ... different ... representations of Trader Joe on them. Their pasta sauces are Trader Giotto's and their salsas (at least some of them) are Trader Jose's.Bradley Bogdan wrote:Or they've opened a store south of the border...Andy Velebil wrote:Been drinking their beer I seeJohn F.
