375 ml bottle, bottled 2007. First aroma is alcohol warmth, and a cognac character. There is a dried leaf spice in the background, candied orange peel, and some burnt sugar. Medium thicker bodied, with candied apricot syrup, maraschino cherry, and more of that cognac along with brown sugar. There is a little warmth in the finish, that just goes on and on. This is just wonderful. 94-95 points. Later a little cedar and caramel.
I bought at least 3 of these in a FTLOP buying opportunity. I wish I had bought a case.
