From a 375ml bottle. Decanted 5 hours. I opened this to check in and see how it's coming along seven years later. Still lush dark fruit with plenty of tannins and chocolate. Nice acidity and a touch of menthol. It was lacking in complexity and depth and with a shorter finish compared to when it was younger. My guess is this is starting to enter that awkward stage young VP sometimes goes through. Probably best to leave these alone for a few more years, at least in this size format, until it comes out of this phase and returns to it's youthful greatness. My score is solely based on this bottle at the time of drinking.
