2007 Quinta do Crasto LBV port
Decanted 2.5 hrs. Dark red with a touch of purple. Fresh, cool aroma of appealing fruit. Full body. Pleasant fruity taste, quite elegant, well-balanced. Long aftertaste. Reminds more of a vintage port than a LBV. 90 pts.

Thanks for the note. Surprisingly I find that I enjoy Crasto's LBVs more than their Vintage Ports.

You are not the only one, as the same has also crossed my mind.

I don't think I've ever had a Crasto VP but I must say that the '06 Crasto LBV that I had last month was a real treat - eminently drinkable and elegant.

Good to hear. I've got a couple of these LBV's on my death row.Mahmoud Ali wrote:I don't think I've ever had a Crasto VP but I must say that the '06 Crasto LBV that I had last month was a real treat - eminently drinkable and elegant.
