1980 Dow Vintage Port

Decant: 3 hours - From magnum. Deep red and opaque. Solid rim. Musty nose - perhaps a slight tone of TCA, but a swirl disapates the TCA so it must be something else, a dirty glass perhaps. Great palate presence and impact, a huge port on the palate. Fruity, with soft tannins and super balance. Long, long coffee and sweet gingerbread finish. Very good port. 92 points
