1991 Morgan Vintage Port

Decant: 48 hours - Deep red colour, early maturity; 90% opaque. An hour after opening the bottle I was convinced it was slightly TCA tainted as it was flat and bitter. 48 hours later it was clear that the wine was not tainted. The tight bitterness had gone, leaving a concentrated black cherry and chocolate flavour tannins. Very fine port that was a pleasure to drink but was surprisingly tight and closed on first opening. 90 points
