1967 Sandeman Vintage Port

Post by Al B. »

Decant: 1½ hours - Deep red, bricking rim but solid core; 60% opaque. Lovely nose, full of mature fruit but still with some youth. Beautiful floral tones and sweet fruit. Nice texture and dense flavours on the palate with concentrated, mouthfilling fruit. A slight hollowness to the aftertaste, which takes a long time to show sour quince and aniseed on the finish. Enjoyable. Served blind this was guessed to be Warre 1977. 89 points
