1945 Taylor Vintage Port

Post by Al B. »

Decant: 2 hours - From Lord Litchfield's cellar. Deep orange, light in colour, 15% opaque. Attractive nose, spicy and rich, livens up nicely with a swirl. Smooth entry and a lovely texture, some dustiness in the fruit on the palate. The palate presence builds nicely until it grabs the senses. Lovely, modest aftertaste develops into a lovely, rich and flavoursome finish that never dominates but has a great presence. Beautifully floral. 94 points
