Have just opened a Krohn Ruby I found at the class 6 store at my military base.
Not real intense but very nice balance and flavors. A bit of age to it, almost a tawny reserve. Very gulpable. I'm having to restrain myself. Very nice buy at $9.75.

Fonseca 1985, Graham 1985, Churchill 1985, Offley 1972, Noval 1995 and a bottle of Cockburn Fine Old Ruby that from the look of label and bottle was from the early 1940s.

A Nice Harris port, bottled in 1979. Had a sherrylike tast. But very Young and fresh.

How was the Offley? Been curious to try anything from that vintage; Offley is the only one I know about.

Celebrating a birthday. The Noval was showing beautifully and was the WOTN. Without a doubt, a few more bottles are going to be popped over the weekend.

I love the Noval 1937 Colheita. I've only a single half bottle I got at their shop.

First of my 18 bottles of Vesuvio 2011. Took a snifter each for my wife and I. Decanting the rest.

Reason: Our first child was born on Wednesday and our 3rd Anniversary was July 22.

Tasting notes: Super young. Strong dates or prunes. Legs that go all the way up.

Taylor 2000 VP - Lovely and lots of berries still showing but just not my thing while this young.

Have another 6 bottles that I'll be happy to pass on to a willing buyer, should there be one out there.

I've had the Offley '72 twice now from different sources. Neither was very good. The best 1972 I've had so far was the Dow.
