Can't find it!

Post by bjminc »

I recently purchased a bottle of "Romariz Reserva Latina Porto Port", comes in a wooden box with 2 glasses. Can't find anything about it. I know very little about Port, but this has no year (that I can find), no taste test, nothing. For that matter, I can't hardley find it in any of the online wine stores. Can someone help me? Thanks much.

Bob - the Romariz Reserva Latina is a Reserve Tawny.

According to IVDP's legislation printed on "Diário da República" of May 17th, 2005, a Reserve Port Wine (either from Red or White grapes) is matured in wood for a minimum period of seven years.

From a Romariz book I carry on my library, I can read that the Reserva Latina was matured in wood casks for several years. It's rich in Aroma and good for pairing with desserts, or coffee. It's a wine that shows complexity. A specific selection of wines was done for the blend of this Tawny Port.

> This is the full text (in Portuguese only - my apologies): Romariz - Reserva Latina
