A bottle which Miguel Corte-Real advised was showing oxidised. Just short of opaque in the centre, distinctly brown compared to its neighbours on the tasting mat. An attractive nose of stewed apples and redcurrants. Very soft in the mouth, elegant structure although slightly over-dominated by the acidic structure. Lots of fruit in the mouth. Aftertaste starting to show milk chocolate and cherries. A lovely wine - what must this be like from a good bottle?! 90 points
