Decant: 3 hours - Light red in colour, with a very slight hint of green on the rim. Mandarin peel all over the nose, redolent of a middle-aged Sauterne. Sweet and mouthcoating flavours on entry. Initally Sauterne-like but with so many layers of flavour developing on the tongue - very sweet oranges everywhere. A long aftertaste, hugely dominated by orange peel and dried apricots. An amazing wine, every bit as good as the legendary Croft '45. 96 points
