TN: 1970 Dalva Vintage Port

Decant: 4 hours - Orange rim, burnt sienna tone to the mature red centre. Stewed fruits on the nose; lots of sweet, stewed raspberries and a tounch of VA. Sweet in the mouth, where the VA shows in the flavours but there is fruit around - just difficult to get at. The aftertaste is very hot, but is big and mouthfilling, unexpectedly so and shows that this could have been a good port. 85 points
