For The Love Of Port

Decant: 1 hour - Two of these bottles have been opened over a 2-3 day period. All of the bottles were acquired at auction and had been badly stored for a few days in the auction house where they had started to leak. Of the 12 bottles, all needed rewaxing but 7 were still top shoulder or better.

Both bottles were pale in colour, with very little red in the wine which was showing a pale barley-sugar colour. The flavours were subdued and very tertiary. Length was gentle and pleasant. Not great bottles of this wine, but perfectly acceptable drinking. NR points
