TN: 1966 Fonseca Vintage Port

Decant: 3 hours - Soft red in colour, showing perfect maturity. Softly hot on the nose with sweet plum jam although more subdued than would be expected. Lovely and silky in the mouth. Lots of fruit in the palate and plenty of subtleties. Surprisingly tannic and quite big. Huge aftertaste. A big and very fine wine. 93 points
