TN: 1970 Gould Campbell Vintage Port

Decant: Not Known - Bottled by Tanners. Deepest in colour of the wines on show at this offline. Mild nose, pleasant rhubarb but slightly hot. Sweet and fruity on the palate, slightly dry with the tannins showing through; perhaps a bit watery in texture. A little one-dimensional. Hot aftertaste, dry cheeks, dominated by chocolate and plums. Needs more time to improve. 87 points
