Decant: 14 hours - Slightly cloudy, deepest in colour of the ports on show at this tasting. Very lively nose with lots of fresh grass and tarragon with a super streak of lemon juice. Surprisingly sweet in the mouth and with some youthful cheek-drying tannins mixed in with redcurrant cordial. Lots of complexity in the mid-palate making this a good wine. The aftertaste is short, but comes back for a quick burst of favour after it seemed to have vanished. An enjoyable but not great wine I guessed that this was the Graham 1975. When revealed to be the Graham 1977 we concluded that this was probably a bottle that had been mildly heat damaged. 86 points
