For The Love Of Port

Decant: 0 hours - Mid red colour, paling rim showing some maturity. Nose of a mid-mature port, with lots of blackcurrant but a hint of the alcohol showing through. Very soft in the mouth, youthful and with lots of fruit initially but with a good dose of tannins and acidity. Lovely fruit structure, very well balanced and extremely pleasant and drinkable. Soft and elegant, is the overwhelming impression. Will likely hold or improve in the bottle for 3-5 years. Good aftertaste, long and fruity and with a hint of chocolate. 88 points
