TN: 1940 Kopke Colheita Port

Decant: None - Bottled 2001, from half bottle. Clear chestnut colour which hold sright into the rim. A nose of warm pears and stewed apricots in a pie. Thick into the mouth the acidity surges through but brings some very pleasant orange juice flavours with it. The finish is excellent in its complexity and is very long. This is an excellent wine. 94 points
