TN: 1999 Graham Quinta dos Malvedos Vintage Port

Decant: 12 hours - Rose coloured rim, deep red centre, which is just opaque. Floral tones on the nose, with a lovely sweet fruitiness. Sweet and smooth in the mouth, dry and grippy with a hint of stalkiness mixed in with the fruit - quite brutal in a way. A big aftertaste, daminated by tannins with the fruit showing late but very well. In 20 years, this will probably be as impressive as the Malvedos wines from the '50s and '60s are today. 85 points
