TN: 2004 Graham Quinta dos Malvedos Vintage Port

Decant: 12 hours - Ex-cellars. Dark red, some purple on the rim but slightly less dense in colour than the 2003 Graham shown alongside. Closed on the nose, sweet blueberries showing well. Sweet and so velvety in texture. Patience in the mouth releases a wave of firm, ripe tannin with huge grip but plenty of fruit to hold the balance. A dry grip on the aftertaste, with sweet fruit trying to push through the dryness. Needs 20 years in the cellar to show at its best. 87 points
