Decant: 4 hours - From a Bordeaux bottle. Soft red, but with good intensity of colour creating anticipation of a port at its peak. Candy and jelly beans on the nose, pleasant but subdued. A lovely texture and with considerable tannins in the wine. The fruit is sweet and dominated by cranberries and rose hips. The aftertaste is big and fruity. A long flavour profile leads into a very good length. An impressive showing. A wine at its peak. 90 points
